Music for Freedom Ghana March 2010

In the very near future, Music for Freedom wants you to be part of history:

We want you to join us on the 5th of March 2009 in an immersive, sensory, cultural & musical explosion in Western Africa, starting with a 2 day Festival in Accra, tracing the slave route over seven days to Singa in Northern Ghana from Fort William, Anomabo on Ghanas tropical coast.

For nearly 20 years time our model of trade and sustainable development has been working though the many villages along one main slave route in Ghana, Burkina and through into the Sahara desert. We are all about establishing long term relationships of trust and trade.

We have an experienced and professional team who are putting together an incredible adventure, but rather that just come along for the ride we want you to contribute your creativity and talent throughout our journey, engaging with our African friends, learning from them and sharing your skills and enthusiasm. Many of our friends like Rocky Dawuni use a fusion of styles and influence to create a universal music of the soul. Yours may be amongst them!

We will recognise and celebrate Africas strengths before, during, and after this event. We have assembled a world class film and sound crew to document the events and are in advanced talks with many broadcasters to forward our content and cause.

We also want you to donate your music and talent to our project, giving us the rights to distribute it and raise funds, while raising your profile with our international audience.
