I beg to differ. You invoked said law, rather than broke it-- the corollary is what states the discussion is often useless past this point, and a fair excuse to end the thread. In this case, to me, your comparison of the buildings isn't so much insulting as unsettling. A lot of us saw that strange collapse and waited for the President's speech to judge-- and when he began with fighting words, we judged.

He's is not my mental guidance or leader, he is just some quack mind bender of the up and coming brilliance of youth and a plague to society. DO NOT let these people stop you from thinking. Just because you broke some supposed "Godwin's Law", that doesn't mean that your argument is not valid. The climate in this world is ripe for what you are referring to. Just read the Authorized King James Version Holy Bible its all there in plain (Old) English.

Remember that free Americans are NOT alone. What happens to you happens to us all... and we won't abandon you in the same way you didn't abandon us in two world wars. The pieces have moved around the board, but they're still the same old pieces and still in play! A fascist state maintains control by making everybody feel afraid, and alone in feeling the way they do (which is why media frame discussion in narrow terms and some things are so taboo), but you're NOT alone.

i think it's a valid comparison, but i understand that it may not be a comparison worth making.

In my opinion, there is nothing strange at all going on. It's just power politics as usual. There is no user. There is a "we" consciousness that spurs us into this downward spiral of fear and loss of freedom. The only conspiracies are those which attempt to quell it--with good intentions or bad.
