Clark Howard features ZocDoc, a nonpartisan improvement to healthcare that everyone can agree on.
"Alright, the circus continues in Washington about doing nothing about health care. There are Republicans talking this way, the Democrats that way, never talking to each other to see what they can do together to improve health care in the United States to do something about the cost of health care, the availability and my deal: We need to look at one key focus. How do we turn health care back to an individual responsibility with individual choice Thats the conversation I want to hear. There are entrepreneurs out there that are on that path. One of the companies that I love what they are doing, is one called ZocDoc. What a funny name. Right now they are only in New York, Washington and San Francisco. What they do is: you can go to ZocDoc and you can search around for a doctor, a specialist or a dentist, and you can make sure they are in your plan and then listen to this: You can read reviews that other customers have posted about that doctor or dentist. Even better: You can go online and make an appointment right then and there. It's all key to the process. We need the move to where you become the customer again and you choose a doctor like you do any other product or service."
