I find it sort of amusing that Raymond is wearing a Nirvana t-shirt here and later he seems to have a fondness for dance music. I mean, people are certainly entitled to enjoy both, don't get me wrong, but in my experience usually young men who like rock and roll aren't also disco fans, you know? :-)

Coogan is the same kind of genius as Ricky Gervais. He sometimes captures the intricacies of life and human behaviour in his characterisations so well, that he can make you feel uncomfortable while you laugh. Sometimes even instead of making you laugh.

Steve Cooghan is a comic genius! I could watch him over and over again. My favorite character is the wonderfully self absorbed Alan Partridge. It is in my top 10 comedies of all time. My favorite bit of all time is the air guitar moment when he is waiting for the tax inspectors.GENIUS.
