May 05 2008 - Baby Sara Finally Home

Baby Sara is tonight sleeping in her own crib in her own home for the first time. On her eighth day in the NICU, doctors discharged her from the hospital. Katelyn and Isabella went with us to the hospital to take her home. Everyone wore a smile as we walked out of the hospital.
At home Sara had two more family members excited to see her. Our dogs Daisy and Bear welcomed the baby with kisses on her head. Bear is already protective of Sara. He's already been on guard outside all the girls' rooms tonight.
With Sara home I feel that a great weight has been lifted off me. I am very happy tonight to have all my family home.
