How to: USB Xbox Controller

A 7-step guide to creating your own USB Xbox controller (regular, not 360) with minimal resources to play games on your PC with.

I spent around €10,- for the Iso tape and the wirestripper.

==== Drivers =================================
I used
Super Joy Box 9, 10, 11
for TigerGame Xbox controller drivers
from: http://www.mayflash.com/?Support/down/

XBCD should be an alternative for these drivers, but I couldn't
get them to work on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (they did work on
Windows 7 Professional x86 on my laptop). This driver can be
downloaded from: http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html

I succesfully emulated this USB Xbox controller
as a 360 Xbox controller to work with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
using XBOX 360 Controller Emulator 2.0.2.158

How do you configure the controller with the mayflash drivers. I've bought super joybox 11.

@MrElliottDavies Hey, once you've got the drivers running there should be a gamepad device in the devices and printers section of your control panel. Right click it and hit Gamepad settings, that's where you can configure your drivers.

kon je niet beter gewoon een xbox 360 controller kopen? die heeft standaard een usb aansluiting (en drivers) :)

@Eythx Hmm, check the wiring. Make sure the wires aren't in a short circuit. What OS are you on?

my pc freezes when i conect it and unfreezes when i remove it
