Stephon Xavier Marbury (born February 20, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American professional basketball player, currently playing point guard with the New York Knicks. Marbury was an NBA All-Star in 2001 and 2003 and an All-NBA Third Team member in 2003. He is known for his quickness, ball handling, flashy moves and perimeter scoring. His career averages are 19.9 ppg and 7.9 apg.

It's funny...I bet Marbury don't even think about this point back then in his life these days. Reminds me of the interview with Wu-tang at the end of the track of their first major hit "C.R.E.A.M." when they were talkin about not sellin out to doing RnB/rap colabs and keepin the Wu brand alive and in the "family" forever for their children and shit. That was '93....look at em now.

The funny thing about Marbury is that every team that traded him got better. That says a lot about his attitude. Many players, such as Keith Van Horn, Kurt Thomas, Quentin Richardson, Tom Gugliotta and others didn't want to play with him. Kurt Thomas was stopped from beating his ass. He left Minnesota because was jealous of KG. Million dollar talent, 10 cent brain.

Contrary to popular and rather ignorant belief, Stephon was never a ballhog. He averaged 8-9 assists per game. He led the league in assists one year I believe. The guy had a lot of talent. Quite frankly, I don't know how Marbury ended up in the situation he's in right now. People say attitude, but attitude in the NBA doesn't usually result in this. O_O

i can't lie Marbury was one of the best PG in the league in his prime. i still hate him though. if he made better decisions he could of been one of the best to play.
