  • Hey!

Im going hunting for speckled belly goose this easter, we got special permit to take down 50 birds then. And i wanna use your help to make the hunting more fun and better overall. Most videos i see all focus on canadian geese, and my question is to you. Is there a different way to call speckled belly geese, or is it as you are doing in this video?

  • There are special Spec calls on the market ... they are not the same as Canada's ... you may want to look into that.

  • i have gone out goose hunting and have had no success becuse my calling sucked. this video made it easy to call

  • Glad it helped. Check out some of our other calling videos. They may help as well.

  • i've been hunting for years and can only call ducks. this is the first video that has taught me something about geese. maybe now i can learn to call a canadian goose (i hope):)

  • That's great to hear ... I'm pumped that the video helped you out ... best of luck this season.

  • thank you so much through watchin many vids ive gotten better than i ever did last season

  • Anyone else notice its raining?

  • This video was a great help. I just bought my first short reed call and have been practicing for the last 2 days and your tips are awesome.

  • i cant get a low note on my short reed it just sounds all crackly and not goosey got any tips

  • How dose that call sound over 100 yards? i have a short reed call that dose not sound good within 50 yard, this makes it vary difficalt to get the birds to comit to landing. i would like a short reed call that is better sounding close up, that will also work grate from along ways away.

  • liked the video, and i just got into using short reed goose calls, im pro on using flute calls and most people stare in amazement on how good i am using it, like you said i can produce up to 6 geese at once at multiple different tones with my flutes. But heres my question, my short reed calls i have sound "nazel-ly" why is this? bad call? not enough wind force? Would love some advice soon, got some competitions coming up :)

  • wow this video make it alot esier than the video tht came with my call.. thank u!!! and good luck to ya

  • Awesome

  • You don't blow with your cheeks. You will not get the sound you want. You need to get your air from your stomach not your mouth. Tighten your tummy muscles and say "hook" adjust your back pressure so that you are getting a deep tone. You don't want to have all deep tones so it is okay to throw in a higher cluck or a honk. Just remember to use your stomach muscles and not your throat or mouth. I hope this comment helps you out.

  • why does he have hunter grounds calls on?
