Just wanted to thank you for the great videos, best i've found on the web. I've got 4 kids so finding time for the drums is hard, but these videos are perfect for my situation. I just started a couple weeks ago, and using these videos has really helped me out. I feel like I owe you some money they are so good. Keep up the good work.

Hi Rob. Your drum lessons are really helpful. I always wanted to play drum but I didn't get the opportunity due to financial constraint. At least, I can now learn it from your video and save some money to buy a drum kit. Thank you and you are really a good teacher.

Thanks a lot. I'm guitar player, but I'm composing songs so I needed to learn about drums and percussion. You are great teacher and your videos helped me a lot. :D

@DrumsTheWord Thank you for the tips. I think I could use my mom's music stand as a high hat and my bongos as a snare drum. I was just wondering what I could use or make as a bass drum and a foot pedal. Thank you for answering.
Hey, i noticed you bury the beater, is this a bad habit or should i not worry about it if it makes it easier?
dumbgitme 1 day ago
@dumbgitme Technically burying the beater is "bad" because it dampens the sound slightly but most drummers do it and it's far more comfortable for the leg, especially when using the "heel up" technique. I think this technique is only really applicable for drummers seriously concerned about their sound or playing in a Jazz group of some kind. Hope that helps. Rob

Your the best drum teacher! My band teacher was going to teach me but it didn't work very well. Do you have an idea for a makeshift drum kit since I don't have a real one? Or anyone for that matter? Thanks!

@Evanescence7654 Thanks for the drum love! You could use the side of your bed and pillows like I used too. It's not perfect but it's something. Good luck! Rob
