  • By the way, I should mention that the error message "Motor Error 8" was due to that the potemtiometer was inverted. Like when I turned left, motor pushed left. So I switched the potentiometer poles around (Analog VCC to Analog GND, and vice versa) then the steering worked well with both Konami's and now my new Happ steering mechanism.

  • Haha.. yes, I should. I need to 'recycle' some cabs a.s.a.p before I can arrange for my racing configurations here at home. I need more space. It's so frustrating.

I'm waiting for another steering-motor mech. to try it on RRV as the one I've got is from GTI Club and doesn't seem very reliable with RRV. I get a Motor Error 8 very soon after starting a game, as it also seems it occurs when I'm trying to steer. In the movie I've disconnected the motor right after boot-up.

  • good testing out dude.

  • Excellent vid! I've been looking for some RRV software for a while now. Seeing this vid makes me want it even more. You need to get that kit into a cab ASAP! Or, you could just send it to me. lol...
