Reyes had locked up the 'Master of the Table' bonus prize of $20,000 early in the 9-ball event based on his win in the one pocket division and high finish in the bank division.

  • @captmcneil I play both games. If I make a ball after the brake, I run out 6 times out of 10 in 8 ball and 3,4 times out of 10 in 9 ball. However, I have never made a century break in snooker. The game is so much harder : potting balls, u can't even talk about bank shots, etc. This video is a great example of what I mean. Reyes had succesfull breaks, he run out. Baraks just didn't get at the table.Maybe he would of run out too.So if you have a good/lucky break u win.Not in snooker.

  • @captmcneil in snooker u can talk about the best player in the world, but in pool u can't because all top players are at the same level. They can all run out 9 times out of 10 if they have had a succesfull break. So it comes down to the break , that makes the difference. Since snooker players don't break that well and since they aren't familiar to pool shots such as jump shots and banks they can't win tournaments. But they have had victories against pool players.

  • @bogdychamp I am a huge snooker fan, but what's the point in saying one game is easier than the other? It is easier or harder for both players, so if the game is easy and everyone can master it, you have to be even better to beat everyone else.

In other words: Reyes might not stand a chance against a snooker player in a snooker match, but why don't snooker players win against Reyes playing pool?

  • @bogdychamp yeah i admit but 3 cushion is the hardest billiard game and efren is one of the greatest there. and i doubt that snooker players can beat efren there

  • @bogdychamp are you sure bro? search it on youtube blomdahl vs reyes. Reyes beat blomdahl in 3 cushion and blomdahl beat efren in 9 balls. Know your facts bro before you talk. okay?

  • @setsuna4th Reyes is one of the best all-round pool players ever, but he could never beat snooker players, not even in his prime (playing snooker I mean). I admire the man, but that is the truth. Snooker is harder than pool.

  • @ireallyhatenoobs 3 cushions is one of the hardest cue sports, maybe even the hardest. But there is no pocketing/potting involved, therefore it's not very appealing to the public. As for Reyes , he is one of the best all-round pool players ever, so he plays 3 cushions very well, but he doesn't stand a chance against the best 3 cushions pro's.. Torbjorn Blomdahl is probably the best 3 cushions player ever.

  • those commentators are idiots, how many shot choices did they get wrong?

  • @Descente36 Yes! You're reason. He is a really good player...

  • one mistake and its all over .. finish him good Efren hahahahaha
