where are the official retailers for Nokia

I think it would be fun to be able to choose your own number. Sprint allows you to do that but only with the first 3 numbers. Like 330- XXX

i buy a iphone 4 i bork in thai like 5,000 to fix lame shit im going back soon chiang mai

@mryoutvtube, 500 Baht? Sounds like you were ripped off. If you have an unlocked handset, all you should need to do is put in your Thai SIM card then activate via the instructions in the pack.

It's similar to buying a laptop at Pantip.

dud shops around there took me 3 attempts to get a phone from there which actually worked

Or take a unlocked handset with you and put a thai sim card in it. Thats what I did. Cost me 500bt for the vendor to do something to the phone so it worked. Still all good info thanks man :)
@thaifaq hey nice video, i wanna buy iphone 4s or galaxy S2 from bangkok when I come there for vacation, I stay in India, what do u suggest? will it be cheaper? can i get a good deal there? or will they sell me a fake cheap chinese rip off?

@maulikrules go to MBK and ask around. Most likely the new 4S won't be a fake but expect the prices to be very high.

How much does the phone itself cost? Say I had cash, how much would it cost to get a phone on the spot with the plan?

@Japanchinasia Depends on the phone. Like I say in the video you can pay anywhere from 1000 Baht to well over 30,000 Baht for a phone. It depends on which model you want and how good a negotiator you are. A phone card with credit can be bought for 100 Baht

Got myself a nice phone, Tony. Next time: how to buy a bullet proof vest in Bangkok?

@taubangkok Sounds like I might need one in Bangkok. Many of the major press have told their journalists to pull out and today the army said that they can't guarantee the safety of the press! Too scary and I haven't even gotten my blue helmet yet.
