@GodLovesUs100 With a LOT of POSITIVE support from family & friends, plus some really good counseling he found his feet again, in fact he has grown into a fine young man and I am now very proud of him. You will be pleased to know that he also found his faith, prays every day and gives thanks for everything and everyone in his life. Amazing about that crazy woman! We weren't the only ones! I started getting phone calls from strangers asking how i got rid of her! Ha! God bless you!

@GodLovesUs100 you are very kind to offer, and I sincerely appreciate the thought. However the lad has come good. I managed to remove these very bad people from his life, as it turned out the whole problem was being 'enabled' by the mother of this kid who wanted to be popular with her son by keeping mine as his 'companion'. Pretty sick person. We had a discussion I'm not entirely proud of and she and her violent, anti-social kid exited the picture. Out of words, see next reply.

My 14 year old fell in with a couple 'tough guys' at school. My son has learnt to SMOKE, says I am keeping him from the world, 'hates' me, swears at us says he wants to quit school, refuses to study and has threatened to hit me. The kid who put all this crap in his head was expelled for other reasons, but the damage is done. How to undo it? I have gotten him professional help to work through his issues but its only 3 years left, tempus fugit!
Your post is 2008, what has transpired since then?
