Thank you for putting it in to perspective. I actually knew James Arthur Ray, and ooh boy, could I ever tell you some stories!! A Huge Phoney, LIAR, Womanizer, and Coke Head! At a church seminar, (where he was to scam folks into buying his materials, etc.) he was BADLY stoned on coke (not unusual)... and I told him not to go on, somehow he pulled it off. I have the video and photos! Biggest "scam artist" ever. Never cared about anyone but his bank account!

Indian sweat lodges are for 5-10 people, are NOT co-ed and do not cost ANYTHING!! These greedy people conducting fake Native American ceremonies around Sedona (or anywhere) for money are frauds & should be avoided! You'd never catch an Indian doing any of this crazy stuff !! The same goes for those people around Sedona being buried alive. DON"T LISTEN TO THESE IDIOTS!!!

So why isn't James Arthur Ray in jail? He really should be. He brainwashed these people and bullied them as much as an est leader or James Jones. He belongs behind bars. I hope they sue him for every cent he ever makes for as long as he lives.

Well, maybe just ignorance, possibly negligent homicide, that is, if the 36 hour fast with no food or water is true. Was Ray running a high fever when he dreamed this up? How could anyone come up with such an idiotic idea? You know why the Indians don't die? They culled out this trait after hundreds of years of sweating in the lodges. Of course the Indians won't die. The participants should at least have been checked for vulnerability to heat stroke. Never heard of an Indian dying like this.
