  • Have you test the residual?It might be sodium carbonate or sodium oxide. I also put a burning charcoal in molten nitrate, the reaction residual corrosion my test tube and can not use in next time

  • Good question? but the test tube usually cracks due to the heat produced and i throw it away

    what do you think would happen if you threw osama bin laden's head into a burning test tube?

  • I have also use molten chlorate react with charcoal, the reaction faster a lot and my test tube is also clear.
