New Super Mario Bros. Wii World 9-7 w/ All Star Coins

Let's watch the8bitgamer tackle one of the "worst things Nintendo has ever thrown into a game"!

Just by reading the entire title, you can obviously tell this is a painful spoiler.
Why "painful"? A lot of people who've played this game have whined and whined about World 9-7 being "liek, da hardist staeg evurh!!1!!1!"

I come across a few obstacles, but all in all, it's REALLY not all that bad. The "take 30" thing was a joke too, by the way.
I highly recommend getting this game for the holidays. Good amount of replay value, and it supports 4 player multiplayer.

MY personal issues: Sometimes when I'm playing through a level, Mario does a wall kick or a "twirl" as I like to call it on times that I DO NOT want the move to be activated. Basically, it's "activated" at the worst of times. Some of my deaths that aren't included in this video have been because of this issue.

This part is the most difficult in all of New super Mario. (I think.) I tried many times, but failed many times. Finally, I use such solution to get the last star coin: press the 2 player, using another one player which also has 99 lifes. In the ending, I let the player to jump and get the last coin. Of cousre this player 2 had to die at once. But as Player 1 is still alive therefore the game could be running coutinue.

@FreudHuang You can also have Player 2 bubble right after getting the coin, but before falling off-screen, thus not wasting a life.

this level is too hard. I'm about to give up on it if i can't beat it with friends and using the penguin suit and star.

I used the pinguin suite and the star to get us past the first coin...you need to get to the ? box that is right after the first coin, once you get the first coing it's a little easier to get to the ice stage. I would get the first coin and finish, save before you try for the other two coins

@Puchdriver There are secret levels in 2 of the worlds. 7 and 5, maybe? I can't remember. You have to get all the star coins in those 2 levels as well.

I've found all the star coins in every world but world 9-7 and 9-8 aren't unlocked. I've checked many times but the game keeps on saying: "You need to collect every star coin to unlock 9-7". Can anyone help me?

Okay, so pro tips, Use fire the fire flower power balls BEHIND you, kill the Fire Bros at all costs, jump to regain control over your momentum, and duck to get under the piranha plants. Yeah, I can see how that kinda gets around the main obstacles of this level.
