@juanlmesl The answer is 0.33x10^7 rounded to the nearest hundredth. Having the negative exponent in the denominator moves it to the numerator as a positive exponent. Therefore to get your exponent you add 3+4=7.

Wow all your comments are from one year ago! LOL. but no matter ill ask you a question because im confuse. i was doing a small quiz and in one question where i was suppose to divide 2.0X10^4 / 6X^-3 and the answer cam out as .33 with no power of ten just .33 at least thats how the answer sheet showed it. can you tell me if this is correct?

im in 7th grade to but we have to learn this in sience and use it to figure out how many kilometers are in a atronomical unit, lightyear and paralax second...hard stuff
