Some big name creators will ask you to purchase something before they'll sign anything, and others will do it for free, and there's others who will only sign a certain number of things. It all depends. As I recall Stan was doing a promo for some company at NYCC 2011 that morning and he limited his signings to two items per person.

@KyleLaney87 He signed some Golden Age comicbooks of mine for free about seven years ago at Comic-Con Int, but that was seven years ago. I had wanted to get him to sign some other books of mine at last year's New York Comic-Con but I would have had to have gotten to the Javits convention center at 5:00 in the morning which I just couldn't handle. I think Stan would probably sign some posters if you bought them, but you might better check first.

I met him last week in pittsburgh, he was such a nice warm man, like a grandpap, you just wanted to hug him!!!! What thrill for me as well!
