Sergio wad a great humanitarian. Look him up and his life work before you justify his murder. He was vehemently opposed to the Iraq Invasion but since it was there, there were people who needed to be helped. UN is suppose to be at troubled regions in the world. just because he is seen next to Bremmer does not make him 'with the Americans'.

I believe C~I~A was behind this attack, because UN commendor in Iraq, Sergio Vieira had condemned this occupation war and he had alerted the international communauty of babarrian commit by US to Iraqis people, that was exactly US government didn't want the world to know. That why C~I~A was be dehind this bomb attack and forced UN mission end in Iraq.

I agree with Halliday. The UN should not be in Iraq so long as it's an occupied country. Dont give me your democracy crap, it's a puppet regime in Baghdad that would collapse quickly if the Americans werent there. Remember also that the UN, at the behest of the US and Britain, had sanctions on Iraq for 12 odd years that resulted in huge suffering for civilians. So there is a lot of justified Iraqi anger against this so called humanitarian organisation.
