  • :0 omg I pissed my pants!

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX I've been playing Pearl Drums since I was like 14, I've always known how to tune properly and what heads sound better for each drumkit I buy and I really have to tell you I've yet to listen to a kit that sounds better than a taama starclassic bubinga or my custom kit, and I still have my Pearl Masterworks by the way, anyways it's a matter of taste you know? maybe I got sick of Pearl drums, but you love them, I don't hate them, but they're not on the top of my list

  • @pescalante2 You clearly don't know what you are talking about. Masterworks kits only sound "ok" if you make them sound OK. Masterworks drums are literally 100% custom made. You can have anything you want. SJC is great as well, but you can only make a custom kit from them using what they offer, whereas Pearl allows customers to create kits without limits.

  • Why does it have the satanic pentagon on the air hole?

  • tonal characteristics. if a floor tom is made of birch, which has crisper high ends, then it probably wont have the boom of, say, one made primarily of mahogany, which was superior low ends. my point is, if you dont know what you are doing when you order a masterworks kit, it has the potential to not sound as good as it could. these are designed for extremely experienced players who know exactly what they want and how to go about aquiring that sound.

  • the deal with these kits is that they are 100% custom made. You chose the size of the drums, the depth of them, the kind of wood, the blend of woods if u want it like that, the number of plys, the finish, the hardware, everything. There is also soooo much more that goes into a drum sounding good, tuning being a good example. the reason the one u played on sounded ok could have been a number of things, like the tuning could have been crappily done. also, different blends of wood give different

  • a 4 piece kit costing 8 grand wtf

  • Most of you guys don't know shit. The difference between a custom drum (Pearl MW) where you pick the exact composition of the shell and a custom paint job on prefab shells like 90% of the other companies.

  • That's a beautiful drum kit!

  • @Xxbucho1951xX no, I'd rather pay a sum around those numbers for a custom made kit from SJC, or like 1000 bucks for a craviotto or brady snare, because those are worth it, I had pearl masterworks drums and they do the job, they don't sound amazing, they sound good, but that's about it, I'd much rather go with a tama starclassic bubinga or starclassic maple, the toms on those drums sound awesome
