Dave, a question .. with your years of experience, what do you think about the judge of people about who is the better guitarist? really do you think that exists the better guitarist?

There is a difference in skill levels, musicality, maturity, experience, but music is art..  not really to be judged.

Love how you were using your right-hand fingers for this riff. Is that something you are focusing on more?

yeah, i love hybrid picking and not playing with a pick sometimes is so nice

Hey Dave thanks for the awesome lesson!

Just wondering if you could please do a lesson on how play and make vai riffs and licks(for the vai fans). if you could do that, it would be sweet!

Every sensible guitarist even if its him or Brian May would say the same, its all down to taste. Sure you can say Yngwie is the best in whatever techniqe he does but then again some would say Santana is the best at something (!!?). Brian May says he thinks Vai is a space age guitarist, but Brian May says his FAVORITE guitarst is Jeff Beck, he never said anyone was the best and I think you allready know this, or you wouldn't have asked. Im not slamming you, just replying. Cheers to a Vai fan.

Really nice lesson Dave! I did notice one thing: I wanted to put some of your podcasts on my Ipod (because I wanted to watch em during class since whe don't do anything there anyway) but Itunes can't find your podcasts on the server :( Thought I'd drop by and say it, because you put the podcast thingy in the description box ;)
