"Rhodes improvisation" Roland A-90, Korg Electribe EMX-1

This is an improv Rhodes composition that was written 12-10-09. Just hanging out in the studio and wanted to record something using the Roland A-90. I have been playing and writing for the piano for 16 years and have no formal training in it. I find the Rhodes sound on the A-90 along with the weighted keys , just so much fun to play. I'm probably not playing a true Rhodes style, but I try. I would love to play a real Rhodes one day! :) My wonderful sister is also playing some improv too.
I also just love playing Steinway pianos, they have just truly a beautiful sound.

The EMX is a great drum machine and it has a really neat synth section on it that is fun to work with. You can make almost any sound you want and add effects and LFOs to your patches. You can also write over the presets that you don't need and save space for your own creations. HAVE LOTS OF FUN!! :)

Thanks! Yes, I used my EMX, I love that thing. I wrote a simple 2 measure drum & bass track on it before this recording. I add some variation to the song by changing my progressions a little so that it would not be too repetitive. My sis unexpectedly decides to join me in the song too. She is so much fun. :) We tend to add our "2 cents" to each other's new songs all the time. LOL We have written some of our best compositions that way.
