Gay on the Weekends (MIDI)

Another track I made for CdlR#6: Cross Section, back in 2006. I didn't choose the track name, and instead had to write an appropriate track based around it. So I wrote this 80s-influenced keyboard-demo-style funk/fusion THING, whatever you care to call it. Suitable? No? Who knows. It's a bit more rigid than typical keyboard demos, just due to my own inexperience. But still, I had fun writing this. Made with XG/recorded on the MU100.

This is also attempt #2 to record a video of Music Animation Machine! This time I used Fraps rather than HyperCam or Camstudio, and compressed the video using a high definition video encoding profile in Windows Movie Maker, sent to me by the great xRisingForcex (thanks muchly! check out his great guitar vids & compositions) A significant improvement! Still a little bit of jerkiness unfortunately - I may have to investigate Fraps more to see if I can improve that... but still, I'm getting there. I'll still be using hypercam for sequence vids because it's much less of a fuss (and the one drawback of Fraps is that it won't let me select just a portion of the screen - it only captures windows.) Anyway, enough chit-chat - enjoy the song~
