The insiders is an experimental film dealing with media and television addiction. It shows a man watching himself reading a book on the TV screen and his endless attempts to escape this never ending nightmare and vicious circle.
Was Screened between 1-7th April 2004 at the International Istanbul Short Film Festival., and between 12-19 March 2005 at the 2nd Yizldiz Short Film Festival. Receiving 2 awards.

Also, very good video! I like the part where you were sucked into it literally and then later smashed it. I wish scientists would study this more. The uncomfortable soundtrack and green overlay accurately convey the uncomfortable fruits of TV, which are unquiet, hypnotized minds.

I went home this Christmas to visit my parents and, I kid you not, both TV's came on at 7AM and were watched until midnight. In order to spend time with them, I had to watch 14 hours of TV a day. By the end of day two I had watched 28 hours of TV. It made me ill. Their souls have been swallowed by the TV! It's like they no longer exist.
