But why do you take out your guns sometimes at the beginning ?

The first time I took them out was to turn faster. Without guns, Lara slowly gains speed while starting to turn around. If you have guns out, she starts from the maximum speed on the first frame. I should learn to use it more.
After that one, it's mostly to get rid of camera angles without pressing look, as pressing look disables control on some keys for the duration of the press, and also jerks the camera around, which doesn't always look nice.
