actually that isn't smoke coming out of the stack, it is mainly steam.Studies by reputable scientific organizations have shown closing Fisk & Crawford will have little to know effect on environmental pollution in the area. PERRO is all opinion and non scientific. But hey close those plants. Replace them with gas plants in the country or from other states. There go the jobs, financial benefits to the local community and local taxes which essentially go to the city.

oneyedlizard, if you would go to the PERRO site and really study the issue you would see how everyone is being affected by these smoke stacks. I feel that you should be careful about giving your opinion about something you obviously don't know anything about.

I hate the smoke but there is no way this woman can prove that her cancer was caused by the pollution.
