@lutzdify Yeah, these games are awesome! I played most of them. Thanks for Your suggestion. Also in that list there must be: Twilight World - greatest platform game only for 8-bit atari, and some very good polish productions: Robbo - Boulder Dash clone, Fred - great game, great music, Miecze Valdgira - platform-adventure, and Klątwa (The Curse) - point-click adventure. Thanks again.

more of an Age of Empire 2 clone IMO, without the frame-based barrack glitches if you know what I mean

@kemalzhang (continued); It *could* do more than 5 colours on-screen at once- in fact it could have up to 256! It's just that there were restrictions. And chip-generated (non-digitised) sounds didn't normally slow things down.
It was also capable of higher resolutions (often mixed), hardware scrolling, and hardware sprites. Flexibility in how you could use these often made it more powerful than it might have appeared on paper. Lots of this required machine code to do- but it *was* possible.
how come the mushroom didnt do anything?

@evildead818 The character doesn't grow in size but the mushroom does give him an extra hit
