I think just the opposite. I think a computer should never be able to overrule the decision of a pilot. These people are trained for emergencies and are able to, something computers can't do, think out of the box witch can make a big big difference, and i aint just saying this because I'm training to be a pilot.

@kladderbordipmarm that's my point of view... computers are much better flying than humans.

you propably no idea of flying

There's still too much buttons and handlers in a cockpit. Planes must be more automated. All that work could be done by a computer, instead of a longstandind checklist. Pilot just need to answer a question in the console: "Engine 1 failure. Do you want to restart engine 1? yes/no.
-
Yes - easily. All planes with two engines are *overpowered*. This means that if one engine fails the other engine can EASILY handle the plane...in fact a two-engine plane can CLIMB easily on one engine. They are designed this way for safety :-)

LOL LOL! Youre right lol that was funny.

@FayeValentine1 Sterile flightdeck below 10,000ft. Only the SOP calls should be made. After 10k they might even have personalities...

Really? Jr production, what do you produce. I hope it has nothing to do with videos or graffics

I've read people saying about the number 2 in the title. Just enter the user's page and check its uploaded videos. The number 2 is from the list of the Airbus videos series, not about "2 engines failures" or "engine 2 failure". In fact, the engine number 1 is the failured one. =)
