Despite the "presentation" of this move, it's actually one of the more useful moves in the game. This is mostly because of two things: 1. It is a non-combination shot. 2. It's a shot from the ground. Most of the best guard moves in the game are poor against those types of shots including Letty's SGGK and Reimu Hakurei's Great Hakurei Barrier.

@TheLeafhopper It's mostly because this is a non-combination ground shot. Most of the best guard moves in the game can't stop those types of shots, even Letty's SGGK has trouble against those types of shots (I.E. Reimu's Fantasy Heaven).
