Humboldt Squid and Ling Cod Fishing Off the Nehalem

Fished for Ling Cod and other rockfish off the Nehalem entrance back in the fall. While fishing, we hooked into a 4 ft Humboldt Squid. This thing would use its' jet-propulsion to shoot twenty feet back down then Dylan would pull it back up, and like tug-o-war, the two went back and forth and I got some nice underwater video. A cold brisk morning, but wouldn't have missed it for the world!
