@KusinerneAF I don't know about that. He didn't end up with Sally's teacher after the divorce or any of the past women. From what I remember, he wanted to end it with her after he told Betty the truth. Almost as if he didn't need her any more because he can be open and honest with his wife.

@XxMyLameUserNamexX And that he's afraid of long term consequenses - with the affairs, if something goes wrong, he can just leave and get a new woman.

@KusinerneAF I agree. I also noticed that Don opens up to the women he has affairs with more than he does with Betty which shows that he's afraid of her judging him. The way Betty talks about her divorced neighbor shows that she can be a bit of a snob.

@justin7560 I think that's why he cheated on her. Notice that the women he had affairs with were never as beautiful or as perfect as Betty? I think he cheated on her because he didn't feel superior to her like he did with those other women.
