Curly Set on natural 4A/B hair. No heat is required for this style. You will only need castor oil (or you preferred twist product), and an optional rat-tail comb for separation.

If you are a 4A/B type natural I really recommend trying castor oil. Its thick enough to coat and smooth the hair but not really oily and absorbs into the hair without weighing it down.

  • my hair is about 3 inches long can you suggest some styles you did at this stage....thanks

  • @mbyrd001 Hi Love! Feel free to go here (public dot fotki dot com slash kamikak) to review my different styles at different links. Hopefully one of them will inspire you. But generally at 3 inches I wore my hair in a curly/fluffy twist outs done on wet hair and worn with a head band. Or I did palm rolls. HTH.

  • I love that look I am in transition so i do have some permed hair, can i use that style on my hair?

  • @TheLisette1973 you sure can. The curls may be a little looser though. But it should still be pretty.

  • I just discovered you and I think you are simply AWESOME!!! I tried this last night. I didn't have sponge rollers so I had to roll my twists up on plastic bone rollers. And I did achieve a curl of course not as tight and locked as yours... which is what I wanted. I think I'm going to purchase some sponge rollers because I LOVE THIS LOOK!!!! I didn't untwist my two-strand twists because I want this to last all throughtout the week. I think on Friday I will finally untwist.. THANKS 4 the TUTORIAL!

  • @lbells84 You are so welcome. I'm happy you enjoyed it and thanks for stopping by!

  • cute i'm gonna try it! THANKS!

  • Absolutely gorgeous!

  • I love your hair and so going to try this!SO glad I found this video!

  • LOVE THIS STYLE

  • Beautiful!

  • I used to wear my hear like this in college, but I used setting lotion which dried my hair n led to breakage. I like the idea of castor oil and twisting before setting. How do you keep it over the week.

  • Nice, I will try in 2 days :-)
