  • It is amazing the number of times people have failed to show empathy to my life situation. People easily judge others base upon their self interest, it is hard being empathic.

  • indeed

  • @IJUSTSUBSCRIBENOW muslims weren't cheering on 911. a fraction of a percent of extremists were. That's like saying christians were cheering whenever abortion clinics get blown up or abortion doctors get murdered.

  • I think that this was the best clip of the entire movie. This army psychologist's psychological workup of the German mindset during World War One is right on the money. The sad thing is that it is complete truth. Germany was ripe for a madman like Hitler (and his followers) to step in and commit unspeakable evils with a entire nation of people to back them.

  • Have you ever heard greater bullshit than "evil is the lack of empathy"? LOL

Where was this guy's empathy when the black population in America were 2nd degree civilians he? What a BULLSHIT this man says. If you fall for this, you're brainwashed by the "allied propaganda" of Hollywood, lol

  • LOL and Glenn Beck and his posse demonized Obama for wanting to have a Supreme Court justice with empathy, and he said that Nazis did what they did because they have empathy. He clearly doesn't. What an idiot

  • please some one upload the whole thing I can't find it anywhere. xoxoxoxox

  • @MusikAndLuv So would you say that Hitler and his Nazis were right in defining evil as being the Slavs, the Jews, the Poles, communists, any Germans who disagreed with the Nazis, Soviet prisoners of war; these people were evil according to the Nazis who had the power. If good and evil is relative to those defining it then morality is subjective, non-objective, arbitrary and capricious. Hitler believed in social Darwinism, power to the strong, the weak shall die, would you say Hitler was good?

  • @TheOilersnotCanucks Does it not seem that great fame, great wealth, and power creates a disconnect between the people who have it and the people who do not? We are all capable of great good and great evil, and the definiton of either is relative to those defining it.

  • This ideology is encouraged all over the western world, no different today that is was then. Look at your self and what you encourage, before you demonize others.

  • @pbail1 part 2 continue:

Then we have people who pick on people for the fun of it...everybody has done this at one time...there is a sadistic pleasure in this, sadism is evil. Some people think it is harmless and not evil...but what is one man's evil is another man's good.

What is another man's evil is another man's good.

911! Was that evil or good. Well, Muslims were cheering, so that must mean that they all lack empathy? Yes?! NO! Because to them it is good...and they care for each other!

  • @pbail1 Evil is a dodgy subject, because what is one man's evil is another man's good! That, and there are many sub-factors to all this: we've got delusional people who fall into mental illness and then go and kill people - that's evil, but doesn't necessarily mean they lack empathy, they are simply mentally ill; then we have the people who get drunk and beat the shit out of their wife, only to feel sorry for it later, that's evil but there is empathy.

  • @edavismookie25 I agree. Though another good scene was when Goering rambles about how the Allies were no different. Especially the US with the nukes and segregation.
