FDR appears around 2:50 and appears to be walking, but almost all his weight must have been on his attendant's arm. Is the man in uniform whose arm FDR is holding FDR's son? This was an heroic performance for the benefit of public image. We all knew that FDR had had polio at the time, and as a child I contributed to building a swimming pool for him. Later Nixon had it taken out.

The intimacy, casual movements, and stunning clear bright color of this is nothing short of amazing. Wish FDR himself were a little clearer, but still a great historical find.
