30 watt solar panel into a Anyvolt 3 DC switching regulator, into a AC inverter. I've been looking around for lower power items to practically use with the panel. Here we power a 23 watt fan, and 8 watt hair clippers. I needed a shave!

  • Nice video guys, I tried that once with a 20 watt panel and could only run a usb device off the inverter (think I had the panel adjusted too steeply). I had a little more success with little 10 watt dc fans that you can get at an auto supply store (12 volt clip fans). I can run one at a pretty good speed off of just 5 watts and 2 of them work perfectly off of the 20 watt panel. I tried running just one of them off of a 50 watt and it nearly tore up the motor, I knew better LOL.

  • you are a funny freak.
