  • Mine is still very scratchy even with the idlehalt added :S

  • are you sure you spelled it right? and added it to the string correctly?

  • Nope, if you're using the same laptop as me there isn't a kext available. Not sure there ever will be either. That's what I was explaining in my other videos

  • It's there. You need to setup a free account to be able to download it

  • hey kloquewerk, I had this problem for this as well. The general fix is that the higher the cpu usage = the better the audio. A friend of mine wrote a simple loop program that i had running in the background that fixed it pretty well. what your doing does the same thing but also overheats the laptop b/c of the power it takes to run the fan. i lost the program however when my osx86 crashed. so if you can figure out a way to up the cpu without overheating. it will most likely do the same thing.

  • kloquewerk

mine doesnt work the sound is still choppy even after the idle stuff in EFIStudio. but i'm running iDeneb v1.5 10.5.7 on a:

    Dell d531

    AMD Sempron 3600+

    2.5GB RAM upgraded it)

    80GB hard drive

ati 1270 (you could make a tut vid on how to hardware accelerate this so Quartz Extreme is enabled)

I really want the sound though

  • Nvm its working, but the laptop gets overheated because of the fan working im going to install win7. Alltough I installed iATKOS v7 on my stationary comp (Dell 530s specs) and everything is working : )

  • apparently this stuff will work for the 1521

  • is there anyway to fix the res? mine looks terrible
