This very sad aria is from cantata 21 "Ich hatte viel "Bekümmernis". Bach wrote this piece for soprano, oboe obligato and b.c. I play this aria on cornet and organ simultaneously, the soprano part on my cornet, the oboe part on the manual with a reed stop (clarinet) and the b.c. on the pedals. The organ has been built by the Dutch organ builder Van Oeckelen in the year 1864. It is in the Stephanus church at Noorddijk (The Netherlands). A few years ago it has been restored by the Dutch restorer Mense Ruiter. My cornet has been made by Getzen (U.S.A.). Info: www.gerardvanreenen.nl

Excellent musicianship, beautiful cornet tone, very nice in combination with this organ. . And, thank you for the information on the organ; I really enjoy the reed stop.

I never knew the recession was this bad! This poor soul can't even get an organ accompanist! Nevertheless... your talents are truly amazing sir! Feet on the pedal, left hand on the keyboard, right hand on the valves and lips buzzing. Extraordinary!
