  • Do you think the great Hvorostovsky, the Russian top baritone of international fame, who has sung all over the world for the best audiences, is going to read your naïve remark about his voice???

Dimitri is one of the best ones - and you know nothing about opera.

  • He is Russian, this is emotional.

  • Amazing.

  • He's taking too much liberty with the rhythms....

  • beautiful singing. maybe a little too operatic for the style. italian diction isn't great, but he's russian, so it's hard to fault him for that.

  • perfect singing

  • @PineAway515 Ugh!!!!!!!!DISTURBING!!!!!!

  • Lovely lovely singing - just sits me me all day...

  • "The sound of a harpsichord – two skeletons copulating on a tin roof in a thunderstorm. "

    — Thomas Beecham

  • His trill at 2:35-:37 gives me the chills.

  • @DinoChicken04 Yes, he is saying friendly forest. But the rest of the song translates roughly as "friendly forest, shady plants, give me a shelter from my pain." So he is appealing to this friendly forest to escape some pain (pace). Sounds emotional to me :p
