DISCLAIMER:
I DO NOT OWN BEAUTY AND THE BEAST OR ANY OF THE SONGS USED IN THIS VIDEO.

This is my own version of the Prologue from Beauty and the Beast.

I used footage that I transferred from my VCR, along with the original stained glass pictures, which I happened to find online.

I used the version from the Broadway musical, 'cause I wanted to try something different.

IT'S NOT COPYRIGHTED!! If I imported it and edited it together, technically it's content that I created. Please comment.

  • I love the church bells in the beginning.

Is there a way you can fuse them with an instrumental prologue?

One can only listen to the same intro dialog so many times.

  • There is, but I lost the original sound effect a long time ago.

  • Is the narration also from the VCR version?

  • No. The narration is from the Broadway version.

  • As a child this was the most amazing and magical scene out of all the disney films i've ever watched. It was always my favourite as I used to read the fairy tale. The water fall... the stag raising his head as they move into the French castle. The stain glassed story- all very mysterious for a three year old and extremely realistic.

Congratulations! your, OLD LADY, evolved into a

    BEAUTIFUL ENCHANTRESS...

  • When I was a kid, I always wondered why it said, "And a mirror, his only window to the outside world," and then he turns around and looks off the balcony, right onto the outside world. I mean, I get that he can't see the village or anything, but it sounds to me like he never left his castle, so why would that be such a terrible fate that he needs a mirror?

  • love it and the movie!!!

  • beautiful!

  • i agree. But the movie wasn't so beauty as the prologue.
