As a constituent of hers this is hugely disturbing. She was voted through in two elections. Its a disgrace. There were actually credible candidates who dint get in because they were not Fianna Fáil

She's living proof of the type of inept rubbish that we elect , but she's not alone as you could say that about each & every one of the current Government. Clowen, Harney, Coughlan etc. they're all the same.150,000 EURO a year my backside!

The fault here lies with RTE, who's studio staff are unionised and are accountable to no-one, and take no care or pride in their work as they know their cushy jobs are secure until they either die or retire. The minister is an easy target here but the real blame is with the incompetent staff within RTE studios.

This is known as an 'as-live pre-record'. These are done for convenience when people aren't available to be interviewed when the show is actually on air. Done correctly, it should slot in to the real live programme seamlessly, but someone took the wrong timings and failed to play the recording in the right spot. In other words they showed takes 1 and 2 instead of the successful take 3. It's perfectly normal for the interviewee to stop and start if it's being recorded. She was distracted also.
