One Last Blast

Just a fun short I threw together while in the mountains recording the walk-through for my SVX's potential new owner. The scene near the end where the camera tilts down to face the road was actually an accident, I just did a little editing around it to make it appear intentional! Frankly, you can't a camera as large as mine to sit still when the road starts to get bendy-- Even if you have an awesome tripod wedged between the seats as a makeshift support...It probably wasn't the wisest thing to hang it out the window like that, haha but it was anchored down pretty secure. Within seconds of it tilting I pulled over and re-situated it into a much sturdier hold.

Shot on a Sony FX1, EXCELLENT camera! Even if it's getting a bit long in the years now, its 1080i resolution HD stands up well to footage from much newer cameras with progressive scanning.

I make no claim to the ownership or creation of the soundtrack, other than mixing and editing it down to a more bite-size form. The source is a fantastic electronic group called Pendulum. The images, of course, are all the product of my invention.
