Today I decided to play through Castlevania 3. This is the Japanese version again but I do plan on playing through the US version too. Anyway I'll be showing you the final battle against Dracula I only take one hit and Sypha is my key to winning. I'd like to thank Cornshaq for showing the strategy I used for the last two forms, the third takes a bit because the attack as you'll see sometimes just floats around and does nothing.
I pause it once by mistake and I realize it pretty quick and get back to playing. Notice how the game spells my partners name as Syfa; this is a translation error that is in the US version as well her name is officially spelled as I've written it in the title. The game also refers to Sypha as him when you first meet her, my guess is since the other two partner choices are male they just translated the choice text once.

Why does the music sound different?
MovieguruThe 4 months ago
@MovieguruThe It's different because in Japan Konami used a special sound chip for some of their games to enhance the music. The NES didn't have the ability to utilize the chip so it was never used in North America.
This is a translated version of the Famicom version of the game.
