Wait so the exposure is that John McCain isn't getting grief for having an affair 30 years ago? I'm as liberal as you can get but I don't make my points by punishing someone for something they did 30 years ago. I understand if you're worried about someone did something 5 years ago, but come on.

First thing first, I'm only saying I'm a liberal because people like to assume bias when talking in favor of one particular group. Secondly, if you want to make a point about relevance why does it matter that I like Family Guy? Third, the relevance to your own character in the now can be radically different if it's 30 years ago or 5 years ago.

In other words, a person in their 30's are unlikely to be the same person in their 60's, and has a greater chance to act differently
