Optimus T P509 from T-Mobile Unlocking with remote unlock code. Place a any sim (except T-mobile), active or not in phone. Turn on, open dial pad and enter code: 2945#*509# to enter unlock access screen. Unlock using the first code cellunlocker.net provides in email (NCK) mine was 16 digits.

every phone has a unique code based on its IMEI #.

i dont see why it would change the functionality. if you change the software to a third party ROM, then it would conflict with T-mobile apps
