I think that the only thing that really gives away that he's not trained is his italian. I AM an opera singer and have heard "trained" people who have sung this a lot worse.

It' very surprising for a metal singer. I'm italian and I can say his italian is good of course with un english accent. He has a great voice and could be a great tenor. Very good.
