Ireland, Connemara

Uit de serie Wild Tracks, afl "Long way to Tipperary" Bergen die met hun tenen in de Atlantische oceaan staan en waar de celtic mist al eeuwen rond de toppen schuift. Het land van overdadig groen, pittoreske huisjes, smalle weggetjes, whiskey, muziek en veel vriendelijke mensen.
Dat land, waar de zwaarmoedige veengebieden nog volop aanwezig zijn en waar iedereen zijn turfje meepikt, moet Ierland zijn.
Oude gewoonten en gebruiken zijn overal terug te vinden, "wat goed is is goed en de rest is onzin" zeggen de Ieren.
In dat land gaan we op reis op weg naar Tipperary.
