Judo for MMA (http://judo4mma.com) - How to do Yoko Kata Guruma - Side Shoulder Wheel. This variation of the Fireman's Carry is a strong takedown that can be used in a No-Gi / MMA situation, and will land you in a top dominant position.

This is part of a series of videos by the Kakure Judo Club, adapting traditional Judo techniques to Mixed Martial Arts or self defense fighting. Please check us out online at http://judo4mma.com

  • @Satsujintekisuito Yes judo is a more wonderfull sport in the world, and can be used for self defense and , but it is a brutal fight and no sport, UP Judo, Down Violence in the world

  • I like judo, but this isnt right:(

  • I think this is a great technique for judo or grappling competition - i.e. in the ring. But in the street, who wants to drop their knee hard on the concrete? I would do the standing shoulder wheel.

  • 70% Work in Street.

  • its easy

  • oh ye in response to the sprawl and knee to the face responses, i rkn this thow works exceptionaly well, takes very little strength, given ye in the vid the guy goes for it, but if used defensively, and the guy is pushing on u if u got 50/50 grip on him, over he goes, as he is alrdy going that direction plus ur own added force. its straight physics

  • muito bom!!!

  • ah i've seen this kind of kata guruma being done by our team captain, but instead of straightening his left leg out he bends his left leg to block the uke's right leg and forms a swastika-like leg sweep

  • Fedor doesn't really, neither does Akiyama or Yoshida, their throws seem to work out pretty well.

  • Smart Ass! But You're Right. Thanks Bro. Thumbs Up On The Jump Knee To The Kids Face.
