@Bautisnemo my experience, sound doesn't change with instrument. Different violins just mean different projection, different sound quality, rough or smoother. I mean my teacher played my factor made violin n still sound the same n as many others u will find

@Bautisnemo The statement isn't to be taken literally. There are, however, many good cheap violins on the market today. The concept that Pinchas is speaking of is true. Trust me, I went to school with him. Cheers.

@bickeringbishop Yes , play on a chinese 50 bucks violin and in a Del Gesu, same sound, sure.

What is this piece?
Strads and Guarneris are the best instruments out there. However I know many very talented violinists who can play a $200 dollar instrument or a $1,000,000 instrument and it sounds the same. It is because of the bow arm...very true.
