Excerpt from a rehearsal for the "Radioactive Rich" concert in Madison, Wisconsin, June 2008. Songs are as follows:

Grinnell

The calendar keeps changing
But still I stay the same
I've got someone to love
And nobody to blame

I just can't find a way
To get my things in order
But I've chronicled the squirrels
On my DVD recorder

Put one foot in front of the other
Put some food on the tray
Take off my clothes and go to bed
Wake up, it's another day

My greatest desire
Meets my greatest fear
I have yet to figure out
What I'm doing here

Someone hit my car
I didn't even care
This carefree life of leisure
Is more than I can bear

Walking round and round in circles
There is nothing more to tell
Am I stuck somewhere in limbo
Or is this just Grinnell

Extremophile

I saw a man on television, just the other day
He said that we were poisoning all of the food
And if we didn't stop, all life on earth would go away
But I know what hes saying isnt true

Extremophile
Extremophile

I came home from the supermarket, I'd bought some cans of meat
They'd blasted it with ten thousand millirads
of gamma radiation, so it was safe to eat
But when I took it out it had gone bad

Extremophile! We'll never kill you
Extremophile! You'll never die
When we push the button, and go up in fire
Extremophile, you will survive

You're with me in the microwave, and in the swimming pool
You live inside my coffee maker too
I could build a rocket ship and try to flee this world
But I could never get away from you

Extremophile! Etc

Some people seem to think that what we're doing is going to kill the planet. That because of nuclear waste and the ozone layer and all the smog and carbon dioxide in the air, in a couple of thousand years, we'll all be gone, and all we'll leave behind is a barren, lifeless planet. Well, that's not true at all. In a couple thousand years? Sure, we'll be gone. But everything we leave behind will be covered with living, reproducing, greenish-brown sludge!

I wish that I could live like you do, down beneath the tar
That seeps up through the bones of mastodons
Or nestled in a comet that flies between the stars
To colonize where man has never gone

Extremophile! etc.
Extremophile...you're our only hope.
