360 view finished project, except a Malossi variator I will install soon, what I am running now is spot on for a 05 Piaggio typhoon, original roller weights back in the variator, red malossi filter sponge replacment, 72 dellorto main jet, take the restrictor plate out of the air intake side of the 17.5mm carb,I unhooked my oil injection line mixing my gas oil strait through the gas tank 40/1 mix, tecnigas next muffler, and a 70cc iron malossi cylinder kit plus 3x tighter springs in the clutch ,pirelli sl26 tires, and last malossi reeds in the reed cage I installed, put all that together and you can go 55-60 MPH depending on weight of the rider.I hope this set up helps others to achieve a better faster scooter:)

  • haah your ped is shit if it only does 55 my firends does 55 and its a 2000 modle and has had jack shit done to it

  • Was that downhill in a hurricane?

Im talking about MPH not the Km you use over there in the UK, This scoot was a 50cc , some over there are a 125, wish we had those here, but none here in the US. Plus I am a big guy at the time I ran 55mph, I was 270 pounds, so 55 was a good leap from the original 32 mph.

  • I have one of these also a 50cc but the 2001 model. I've stripped it all down and I'm in the process of fixing it up. My father brought it eight years ago and decided I could have it. It's had anti-rust paint on the frame but the exhaust has gone too far and needs a new one to pass it's MOT. Good bike though ran on expensive good quality oil all of it's life and fires up first kick.

  • @w8tlftr4u we use mph in uk

  • @w8tlftr4u

we use mph in the UK dude

sweet ped by the way, you going to fit a gear up kit?

  • @w8tlftr4u don't worry, wont hurt your top end. Theres a limit to how much the cvt can make the belt stretch and with a stock engine you'll need 7-8g rollers but with a better engine and a tuned exhaust you'll probs make it with 4-5g rollers ^_^. I've seen somebody with a 2fast kit use 1g rollers :P. That scoot was a beast.

  • l00l at the back indercaters!
